Lemon Bottle

Evidence profile: Component evidence only — this formulation has not itself been studied

Lemon Bottle does not describe a single compound, and it is not a peptide: it is a proprietary multi-ingredient solution. We have no independently verified list of what it contains or in what amounts, so this profile gives no formula, sequence or molecular weight. It is normally filed with nutrient complexes of vitamins and metabolic cofactors, but that filing does not show what any particular sample holds. No peer-reviewed study of the formulation in cells, animals or people appears to exist, and no mechanism of action has been established.

Mechanism of Action

A mechanism cannot be stated for a mixture whose ingredients and proportions are unconfirmed. Being grouped with vitamin and cofactor complexes tells us nothing dependable about a given sample. Even when the individual ingredients of such products have well-described biochemistry, that cannot be transferred to an undefined combination, since quantities, interactions and stability in solution all matter and none has been reported. Published research has not shown any receptor, enzyme or signalling pathway to mediate an action of this product, and none is implied here.
